I am pleased to officially declare the consumption of new yam open for the year 2026 for the good people of Ora-Igbomina. After the necessary iwure in the palace, the babaloja,iyaloja,the Omo owas,the oloris and the representatives of the Asaooni-in-council danced to the melodious renditions of Ayansesan and his team as iyaafin Emiloye Ayantoye joyfully carried the basket filled with new yam to the market square.
